About Saffron Tax Partners

Saffron Tax Partners is a specialist tax business, providing a dedicated and proactive personal service to private clients.  Based in The Gherkin building in the City of London, we provide a wide range of tax services, helping clients steer a path through increasingly complex tax legislation.”

Expertise

“Areas of expertise include compliance with the rigours of the Self Assessment regime, through the completion of annual Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts, and dealing with all correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs on our clients’ behalf.  We are particularly experienced in dealing with the specific, and especially complex, tax issues for individuals not domiciled in the UK.”

“We also address any appropriate tax planning issues with a view to the mitigation of liabilities, covering capital gains tax, inheritance tax matters and at the same time raising awareness to any other relevant commercial considerations.  Most importantly, the Saffron team of vastly experienced tax professionals all take real pride in understanding our clients’ differing needs, and building long-term business relationships.”

Working With WDL

“We have worked with WDL since our inception, and they have proved invaluable in establishing the Saffron brand.  We have received several compliments on the quality of both our website and corporate identity, a testament to the fine work undertaken by WDL. We have been especially grateful for the highly responsive way Elliot Smith and his team have dealt with our business.”

The team here at WDL have decided to set up and launch a Meetup group for like-minded digital professionals in Colchester, and the surrounding areas – www.colchesterdigital.co.uk.

The thinking behind the group is to get as many of us together so we can collaborate, share knowledge, experience and information. Essentially, an opportunity to regularly catch up and meet others who earn their living (or want to earn their living…) from the Internet. Somewhere to discuss issues that have a direct effect on our businesses, or just a time and place to have a drink and a chat. We know there are enough of us out there to justify this Meetup, so we thought why not; it’s not hurting anybody and it has the potential to be really useful for the members.

Initially we’ll get together once a month (1st Meetup – 8th June, 2011 at WDL, East Street, Colchester), but there is scope to meet more often, and at different places, it’s up to you – it’s your group! There will be no expectations so just bring yourself, a friend if you want, and perhaps a few business cards – you never know who might be there.

To join the group, go to our Meetup page at www.colchesterdigital.co.uk

Fabric Systems

Fabric Systems came to us for a new identity, business cards and website to promote their bespoke fabric coverings company. They wanted a design which was modern and sophisticated to represent the nature of their products, whilst creating a mark to establish their company.

We  have created an image slider for the main focus of the site, this allows us to use several images yet maintain clean, simple styling throughout the site.

Recently we have been working with Optimum Cooling who are an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration company based in Colchester. We are currently working on a re-design of their current website using their existing branding along with content consultancy to ensure the content on their website is SEO friendly. We have also been asked to create a 3 metre x 1 metre display banner, an interactive presentation slide show and also supporting printed material.

We look forward to building a lasting relationship with Optimum Cooling to ensure that their business marketing material is in cohesion with their business plan.

DMK Marketing

We have just completed the branding, website and stationery design for DMK Marketing. The brief was to create a professional, yet approachable identity. A key phrase from the brief was ‘individual parts creating a whole’, this has been typographically represented in the design for the logo.

The colours that were used and the clean styling convey professional and approachable characteristics. The brief was to avoid imagery such as business people in standard poses, so we used a metaphor to convey the promotional work of marketing by using the display and presentation of the peacock.

This completed project for Peter and Sue Coltman’s business, Principled Wellbeing, consists of a logo, website and company stationery. The website can be viewed at www.principledwellbeing.com. Peter and Sue were great clients to work with as they provided us with a clear and concise brief which we were able to follow and add our creative touch too.
