Who We Are

Elliot founded WDL in 2002 after graduating with a Masters degree in computer studies, specialising in ecommerce. He previously studied psychology. He is particularly interested in coding dynamic database driven sites using a range of technologies.

Matt joined WDL in November 2006 after graduating with a degree in business management. Matt is interested in making web sites that are visually appealing whilst retaining usability and effectiveness.

Craig joined WDL in February 2009 as a developer but is now also in charge of all things technical. He is responsible for keeping team WDL up and running and can quite literally fix anything.

Daniel joined WDL in March 2011. He enjoys looking at things differently, whether it’s a website, a brand or marketing strategy he relishes the opportunity to find creative, yet simple solutions to any kind of problem. When he’s not working Daniel loves to spend time with his family and play with creative computer software.

Richard Graduated from University in 2008 with a degree in Graphic Design & Illustration. He has an interest in making functional, design led websites and clever, ideas based design work.

Sam graduated from Hull university in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science and joined WDL in December. He is an avid programmer who enjoys creating websites that are useful and efficient.

Emma started at WDL in Dec 2011 and is a specialist in Digital Marketing and content strategy and creation. From SEO, to usability and conversion factors, Emma takes a holistic approach to Internet Marketing, understanding the importance of driving more traffic to a site as well as increasing the number of visitors that turn into customers. In her free time, when not chained to her desk at WDL (lol), Emma is a keen geek, a self-confessed chocoholic and a true child of the 80s, loving all things retro; especially Power Ballads.

Natalie joined WDL in February to help Elliot with the administration duties of our growing business. She has a Diploma in Business Administration, and is currently studying towards a Diploma in Bookkeeping.

Tom graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in economics, a long, long, long time ago. He enjoys working in a team of designers and developers with the aim of producing high quality work consisting of both functional and aesthetic elements. Outside of work he is a keen runner, enjoys spending time with his daughter and is also an avid West Ham supporter.

Luke graduated from university in 2010 with a degree in Psychology and joined WDL in 2012. He enjoys using analytics and research to find the best way to market a website. His absolute favourite use of this data is to find the best way of increasing the social media engagement of a website, but he also enjoys using statistics to inform SEO, Link-Building, and PPC campaigns. In his spare time he can normally be seen with his nose in a book at various local cafes.

George has been working with websites for the last 5 years, with a fascination for intuitive designs and up-and-coming technology. He started at WDL in early March, and enjoys building beautiful design and user-interface led websites. In his spare time, George enjoys finding out how stuff works, playing the drums and (good) American TV shows.

Emily joined WDL in March 2012 to help them keep in contact with their growing list of clients. She has a background in website management dating back to the time when people designed and developed on multi-coloured apple iMacs whilst sitting on beanbags (true story). If you ask her about it she’ll say it’s not like it was in the old days.

Tom graduated from Technical College in 2008 with a Telecommunication Technician Certificate and joined WDL in March 2012. Always eager to learn and hugely interested in the IT industry, Tom loves to solve ‘computer’ problems and improve his website programming skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL and Java. When not working he shares his time with his family and friends.
