Operating as a B2B-only business, Hytek approached us in need of a new website, with their dated Magento site failing to provide a positive user experience due to unconsidered user journeys and outdated layout, design and branding. Refuelling user engagement, website usability, B2B functionality and the overall design aesthetic, we wireframed, designed and built a brand-new WooCommerce website, while expanding and modernising their existing branding.

Focusing on all aspects of the user experience, we overhauled the previous sitemap, implementing a bespoke megamenu, comprehensive categorisation and prominent, easy-to-follow signposting. B2B features came in the form of different states and content for logged-out users, login options and various ordering processes such as quick order forms and purchase list uploads.

A seamless B2B experience

Placing orders and managing accounts with ease

Giving users increased flexibility, orders can be placed via a standard eCommerce journey through categories and listings, or via dedicated pages within a user's account, allowing for reorders, CSV order uploads and the use of a wholesale order form. Users can also manage multiple addresses and sub-accounts.
