King of Cotton was established in 1995. ‘Re di Cotone’, the Italian version of the business, has been in existence since 1880.
Through a long line of family ties, it was brought to the UK with the main aim to supply the UK’s finest hotels with superior quality linens. Over the years, the company has expanded and now sells these quality products direct to the public.
King of Cotton have been a valued client of WDL for a number of years. Having worked closely with them on several projects, they approached us with a new requirement – an ongoing redesign and optimisation of their ecommerce site, with an end-goal of bringing the brand image up-to-date. In addition, our brief included the addition of business critical functionality as well as the improvement of their customers user experience.
Following a full consultation, we knew the design of the new ecommerce site would encompass a crisp, clean colour palette to reflect the brand’s luxury linen and cotton products. The overall look and feel would create a fresher, lighter, ‘classier’ site.
