Creating a strong brand reputation to convey trust and professionalism to new customers

Marshall’s has built a strong reputation in their industry, but their dated one-page website made them appear a small company, when in fact their large vehicle fleet and modern warehouses show otherwise.

We proposed creating a strong brand identity to match the liveries on the lorries and warehouse signage. We used bold typography to create a strong presence so they appear as the established logistics company they are.

To build on their hard-earned reputation we discussed using professional photography and video to show off their fleet of lorries and storage depot. This instantly sets them apart from competitors (who often just use stock imagery) adding a sense of professionalism for users of the website.

To help Marshall’s grow we set up defined service landing pages, separating their haulage and warehouse services. This made it easier to find the specific service a client might need, be that via the website or through organic search results. To further help business growth, we set up geo-location pages with the aim of improving search ranking for location-based search terms.

Dedicated service landing pages

The main goal of the new site was to make all the services clear and easy to access, compared to the limited service section on the old site, which restricted the content in order to explain the different services. With the introduction of new landing pages, there are multiple editable sections to help explain each service, making it easier for Marshall's to convince prospective clients that they are the right team for the job. This was further enhanced by making it easy to get in touch with clear service-specific calls to action. This means prospective clients were kept engaged until they were ready to make that first enquiry.
