We thought sharing our success stories from December would be a great way to kick start our blogs for 2022! So what’s been happening at WDL in the closing month of 2021?

A New Website For Kings Of Diamonds

We’ve been busy working on a new bespoke website for Kings Of Diamonds; a long term client of ours. The site is currently in the Information Architecture (IA) stage but will feature a custom ring builder section using the Woocommerce composite products plugin as a starting point.

The new website will have three prominent CTAs (Call To Action) for the three different user journeys Kings Of Diamonds want to encourage. These CTAs will be; individuals shopping for standard products, those shopping for loose diamonds and the new ring builder element.

The new ring builder element will allow customers to build their own pieces of jewellery (engagement rings, earrings, pendants, etc.), letting them customise their piece as they wish. The new element will allow the user to start from the bottom and build up their personalised piece of jewellery as they go. Firstly the mount will be selected from a number of available options and materials before the user gets to choose their diamonds/style. This will be done through the use of filters throughout each component in the builder – providing the user with a visual representation as they go.

Local, Legal Firm Whittles Look To Update Their Site

We have just won a new project to work with an established local chartered accountant. Whittles who have offices based in Colchester and Mersea, are looking to update their website with an improved user experience and a real focus on personality, putting their partners and staff at the forefront of this website.

We look forward to working alongside this local company and modernising their website, helping them stand out against more corporate looking competitors.

We’re Continuing Our Work For The Vertas Group

We’re working on another great new project for the Vertas group. Schools’ Choice is a provider of professional education services for schools and academies. They have tasked us with improving the navigation and usability issues on their website, which have been highlighted as areas that need addressing.

And that brings a design-heavy Small Wins 12 to a close. As always we are extremely pleased with the quality of work we started last month. Make sure to come back next month when we can share yet another handful of small success stories from WDL.
