Small Wins Episode 17

01/07/2022

It seems like yesterday we were releasing our first addition of our Small Wins Blog series for 2022, and here we are, half way through the year sharing our 17th edition to the collection. As always we’ve been working hard behind the scenes for our clients and have struggled to keep this blog down to just our top three things this month.

We’ve Been Nominated For An Award

We have entered our recent website design, IGMA Imaging, into the highly regarded Awwwards website design awards. These established awards feature some of the best designs and websites on the market and recognises the talent and effort of the best web designers, developers and agencies from around the world.

We are really pleased to have even been accepted as a nominee, which now means our site goes forward to be judged by a professional jury made up of some of the best creative professionals in our field. Our fingers are now crossed with the hope we get awarded the prestigious site of the day award – many in our industry would be proud to have! We now just have to play the waiting game as this process takes several weeks.

Oakpark Goes Live

We’ve already mentioned Oakpark Security in one of our first editions of the Small Wins blog series, however, we’re happy to announce that the website is now live!

The new Oakpark Security website brought much needed visual and technical updates to their website. Richard (design) and Rick (development) worked together on this site, working closely to the clients specifications, and we’re all very happy with the final product. The Oakpark Security work was a great opportunity to refocus the website, driving more traffic to their new enquiries page.

We’ve Hired a new Business Development Manager

It seems like we’re hiring a new team member every month (stay tuned for future blogs as we may have some new members joining in August), and June was no exception. We’ve hired Clive, our new Business Development Manager (BDM). Clive will be looking to bring in new business to Website Design Ltd via outbound sales, this will include calling, marketing campaigns, networking, and more.

Clive is most looking forward to introducing the “right” type of new business into the WDL portfolio, with a passion for providing business solutions to companies that are committed to improving outcomes. He is also looking forward to being a key part of the development here.

Clive’s career to date has been in the commercial teams in various media companies, including, more recently, his role controlling all the commercial activity of the only FM radio on the Channel Islands.

We’re continuing to produce high-quality work for our amazing clients, and have already started some exciting projects that we hope to complete throughout July.
