A professional, informative website was needed for this leading security company, along with a business application and ongoing design work.

Managing Risk. Delivering Value.

Oakpark Security provides security solutions across East Anglia and the South Coast of England. With services including security personnel, keyholding services, patrols, monitoring and lone worker protection, their experience and strategies ensure ‘organisational resilience’. Our work with Oakpark Security has seen the design and development of both the Oakpark Security and Oakpark Cleaning websites, as well as a bespoke business application used by Oakpark staff. Ongoing work sees WDL implement custom landing pages on the Oakpark websites, additional site features and a range of print-based design work.

A refresh for an established brand

When Oakpark first approached WDL, they had steadily grown to become an industry player. Oakpark’s management team felt that the brand needed a refresh in order to accurately represent, and modernise their business. Our initial work with Oakpark saw the design and development of both the Oakpark Security and Cleaning websites.

Future proofing

One of Oakpark’s main experiences and expertise is their ability to future-proof their client’s businesses. Our secure relationship with Oakpark sees frequent updates to their website, ensuring the design is kept modern and user journeys to new content remain intuitive. We work alongside OakSec on all aspects of design, development and digital marketing to ensure that the business’s online and on-the-ground presence is as effective as possible, not only at bringing in new customers from the local area, but also with a wide reach, whilst cultivating and informing existing clientele of updates.

Improving recognition, retention and recruitment

A detailed planning process was undertaken by our designers and ensured we were able to deliver an information architecture containing key service information with a methodical user journey. Heavily featuring their existing branding, our designers have since worked with Oakpark on developing aspects of this, while ensuring the professional and reliable portrayal is ever prominent. The design itself broadcasts Oakpark Security in their desired image, and the new website involved several elements of bespoke functionality that allow Oakpark, as a business, to function in their craved manner. This functionality includes an online recruitment system and a homepage carousel, which prominently displays core services and benefits.

Ensuring brand resilience

While much of WDL’s work for Oakpark has been focused on their two websites, WDL have also designed and built a custom business application that allows Oakpark personnel to record and receive updates on in-house processes, as well as bringing their company’s procedures in-line with recognised industry standards. Ongoing additions and improvements to the Oakpark site have seen brand developments which have been carried across to a range of other mediums. We have proudly produced print-based designs that allow Oakpark to promote their brand image in person. This work includes posters, leaflets, banners and a company brochure.

“We have worked with WDL for two years now on a number of different marketing and development projects, including our website. They provide an innovative and tailored service that is based on really getting to know their customers. All of us at Oakpark Security are delighted with the results of their labour and we recommend them to anyone looking to update or refresh their brand!”
